We are pleased to announce that Giles Wade and accounting firm McGregor West have agreed to an alliance to strengthen our tax and compliance services. This takes effect from 1 July 2022.
Giles Wade has been associated with McGregor West for more than 15 years, drawing on the firm’s expertise in tax advisory, audit and compliance. We decided to extend our close working relationship to form a strategic alliance to enhance the services provided to clients of both businesses.
McGregor West was established in 1992 by Duncan McGregor and Alasdair West and is currently led by Debbie Bartlett. The team has decades of tax advisory and compliance experience, a strong network and, like Giles Wade, a strong focus on developing long-term client partnerships, underpinned by respect, integrity, and professionalism.
Importantly, the McGregor West team brings additional expertise to the existing Giles Wade team to ensure we continue to provide our clients with up-to-date strategic accounting and compliance advice. Our commitment to providing quality advice and premium financial strategies remains unchanged.
As a result of legislative requirements around audit independence, from 1 July 2022 McGregor West’s audit business will operate autonomously as Audit.able. This business has a team of experienced auditors and will provide true independence in auditing.
The expanded team provides more people and resources for our clients, making our services more flexible and responsive. It also ensures that as we grow our business, we can continue to provide our clients with the full strategic accounting, tax and wealth advice that sets us apart.
